TREATMENT COST IN INDIA
Treatment and surgery costs in India
Cost is often the first question, and you deserve a clear answer. There is no fixed price for most treatments, so we get written estimates from suitable hospitals after they review your reports. These guides explain what shapes the cost of each treatment.
Medical recommendations come from your qualified treating clinicians.
Why surgery costs in India vary
Two patients having the same operation can receive very different estimates. The total cost of treatment in India depends on:
- Your diagnosis, age and general health
- The procedure the specialist recommends
- The hospital and the surgeon’s experience
- Implants, stents, devices and medicines
- Room category and number of days in hospital
- Tests, blood products and any extra care needed
That is why we don’t publish fixed prices. An estimate based on your own reports is far more useful than a price list.
What a written estimate should tell you
When you compare estimates from different hospitals, check that each one tells you:
- Which services, tests and medicines are included
- What could be charged separately
- The room type and number of days assumed
- Which implant or device is included, and alternatives
- How long the estimate is valid
- When the hospital confirms the final cost
The treating hospital confirms the final cost after examining you. If your care plan changes, ask the hospital to update the estimate before treatment starts.

Frequently asked questions
How much does surgery cost in India?⌄
It depends on the operation, your diagnosis, the hospital and how long you stay, so there is no single price. Hospitals send written estimates after reviewing your reports.
Why don’t you publish prices?⌄
Because every case is different. A price list can be misleading; an estimate based on your own reports tells you what your treatment is likely to cost.
Is the estimate free?⌄
Yes. The case review and hospital estimates are free and without obligation. You pay the hospital only if you decide to go ahead with treatment.
Can the final cost be different from the estimate?⌄
It can, if the doctors find something new when they examine you or your treatment plan changes. The hospital confirms the final cost after examining you, and you can ask for an updated estimate before treatment starts.
